Sin embargo, las prácticas de fertilización excesivas generan contaminación ambiental. Una ventaja de la utilización del método de nutrición balanceada para el cálculo de dosis de fertilización es que, permite precisar las cantidades de fertilizantes en función de las metas de rendimiento. Sin embargo, para su aplicación se requiere el suministro edáfico y la eficiencia de recuperación de fertilizante además del valor denominado requerimiento nutrimental, el cual considera la necesidad de nutrientes para la producción de biomasa aérea y subterránea de las plantas. El tomate saladette es un cultivo que se puede manejar de manera intensiva a un tallo y solo dos racimos florales, pero hacía falta el valor de requerimiento nutrimental con este manejo. Por ende el objetivo de este estudio fue generar dicho valor; para lograrlo se establecieron plantas de tomate, en condiciones de invernadero y fertirrigación; a los 70 días después de trasplante se extrajeron diez plantas y cuantificaron por órgano peso fresco y seco, producción de fruto comercial y fruto no comercial. Posteriormente se analizaron las concentraciones de nitrógeno (N), fósforo (P) y potasio (K) en cada órgano y se calculó la cantidad de nutrientes necesarios para alcanzar una tonelada de fruto comercial en este tipo de manejo. Los resultados indican que, la producción de fruto comercial por planta fue de 1.0 kg, el órgano que menos materia seca acumula es la raíz y el requerimiento nutrimental expresado en kg por tonelada de fruto fresco es N 0.78; P 0.12 y K 1.74.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Summary: Saladette tomato is the most consumed vegetable in the world, but excessive fertilization practices generate environmental pollution. Using the balanced nutrition method is an advantage to calculate fertilization doses that allows specified quantities based on waiting yield goals. In addition to soil supply and fertilizer recovery efficiency, nutritional value is required, which considers the need for nutrients to produce aerial and underground plant biomass. In the case of saladette tomato - a crop that can be managed intensively with one stem and only two floral clusters - the nutritional requirement value was lacking with this management. Therefore, the objective of this study is to generate the nutritional value of tomato plants established under greenhouse and fertigation conditions. At 70 days after transplanting, Ten plants were extracted at 70 days after transplanting to quantify fresh and dry weight; commercial and non-commercial fruit production were quantified, as well as each plant organ. Subsequently, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) concentrations from each organ were analyzed and the amount of nutrients necessary to achieve a ton of commercial fruit was calculated in this type of management. The results indicate that commercial fruit production per plant was 1.0 kg; the organ that accumulates the least dry matter is the root. The nutritional requirement expressed in kg per ton of fresh fruit is: N 0.78, P 0.12, and K 1.74.]]></p></abstract>
