Para ello, se propone una lectura a partir de la teoría, el proceso creativo y los dibujos de Palladio en I Quattro libri dellArchitettura con énfasis en la invención y la relación dialéctica teoría-disegno-forma respecto al aspecto inteligible y sensible del diseño. Se presta especial atención, por un lado, a la asimilación de las nociones humanistas en Boullée de disegno, imitazione, natura, idea, invenzione, figura y bellezza, entre otras, que se sustentan en el prin cipio vitruviano de forma, y se tornaron fundamentales dentro de las reflexiones de la estética y de la teoría del disegno del Cinquecento. Por el otro, a la interrelación forma-espacio en la composición expresada en la abstracción de los dibujos de Palladio y Boullée.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzes the thinking, architecture, and drawings of Étienne-Louis Boullée under the perspective of the classical principle of form as interpreted by Andrea Palladio; it offers a reading informed by Palladio&#8217;s theory, creative process, and drawings in his I Quattro libri dellArchitettura, with emphasis on invention and the dialectical relationship between theory, disegno and forma regarding the intelligible and sensitive aspect of design. Special attention is paid, on the one hand, to Boullée&#8217;s assimilation of humanistic notions of disegno, imitazione, natura, idea, invenzione, figura and bellezza, among others, supported by the Vitruvian principle of form, which became fun damental elements in reflections on aesthetics and theory of design during the 1500s; on the other hand, the article addresses the form-space interrelationship in composition expressed in the abstraction of Palladio and Boullée&#8217;s drawings.]]></p></abstract>
