El control postural es necesario para adquirir esta habilidad.  Objetivo:  Describir la evolución de un paciente con dificultades para el control postural en sedestación, a quien, como parte de un programa de fisioterapia, se elaboró de manera artesanal un asiento moldeado pélvico de yeso (AMPY).  Caso clínico:  Paciente masculino de 12 meses de edad corregida con diagnóstico de retraso global del neurodesarrollo. Tras cinco meses de uso continuo, el paciente logró una mejoría parcial.  Conclusión:  En niños con dificultad para mantener la sedestación, un AMPY puede ser una herramienta accesible y efectiva.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  Introduction:  Sitting, as part of children&#8217;s motor development, is essential for participation and development in various activities. Postural control is necessary to acquire this skill.  Objective:  To describe the evolution of a patient with difficulties in postural control while sitting, who, as part of a physiotherapy program, received a handmade molded pelvic plaster seat (MPPS).  Clinical case:  A 12-month-old of corrected age patient was diagnosed with global neurodevelopmental delay. After five months of continuous use of the MPPS, the patient achieved partial improvement.  Conclusion:  In children with difficulty maintaining a sitting posture, a MPPS can be an accessible and effective tool.]]></p></abstract>
