Objetivo: El presente artículo propone la implementación de escenarios bioéticos bajo simulación como método de enseñanza-aprendizaje de competencias de identificación, análisis y resolución de dilemas bioéticos.  Material y métodos: Se realizó una investigación bibliográfica sobre el uso de la simulación para el desarrollo de competencias éticas en estudiantes de medicina, para proponer una incorporación de este método en el desarrollo de competencias bioéticas con base en lo propuesto por la American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.  Resultados: Se encontró que la simulación es un espacio propicio para el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de habilidades de análisis y discernimiento bioético. De igual manera, se identificaron retos para enfrentar en el método de la simulación clínica enfocado a desarrollar competencias bioéticas en los estudiantes.  Conclusiones: El método de la simulación clínica favorece el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de habilidades y competencias bioéticas en los estudiantes, tanto de medicina como de bioética, pero enfrenta retos importantes que es preciso ir abordando.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Background: Based on the challenge of training competent professionals in complex clinical environments and the fundamental role that simulation plays in the education of both physicians and bioethicists, simulation emerges as an effective and evolving method for acquiring bioethical skills and competencies.  Objective: This article proposes the implementation of bioethical scenarios through simulation as a teaching-learning method of identification, analysis and resolving bioethical dilemmas.  Material and methods: A bibliographic review was conducted on the use of simulation to develop bioethical competencies, following the framework proposed by the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.  Results: Simulation, particularly debriefing, was found to provide an effective space for learning and developing skills in bioethical analysis and discernment. Additionally, challenges were identified in using clinical simulation to develop bioethical competencies in students.  Conclusions: The clinical simulation method facilitates the learning and development of bioethical skills and competencies in students, both in medicine and bioethics, and requires further implementations to identify areas for improvement and optimize competency acquisition.]]></p></abstract>
