Durante la campaña electoral presidencial de México de 2024 los medios de comunicación jugaron un papel crucial al trasladar a la ciudadanía información sobre las candidaturas mediante un tratamiento informativo particular. Con el objetivo de analizar el framing mediático realizado durante este proceso, se realizó un análisis de contenido de las valoraciones encontradas por el monitoreo del INE de la campaña de 2024 de noticieros de radio y televisión. Los hallazgos reflejan un uso preferente del encuadre de juego estratégico. Además, mientras el encuadre de mensajes, ideas y propuestas tuvo menor presencia al final de la campaña, los de juego estratégico y de elementos personales aumentaron en la fase intermedia y se mantuvieron en la final. Finalmente, la cobertura de elementos personales durante toda la campaña dominó para un candidato, pero el uso de los restantes encuadres tendió a ser similar al final de la campaña para las tres candidaturas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract. During the 2024 Mexican presidential election campaign, the media played a crucial role in conveying information about the candidates to the public through a particular news coverage. With the aim of analyzing the media framing used during this process, a content analysis was conducted based on the assessments from the INE&#8217;s monitoring of radio and television news programs throughout the 2024 campaign. The findings indicate a dominant use of the strategic game frame. Additionally, while the frame of messages, ideas, and proposals diminished towards the end of the campaign, the use of both the strategic game frame and personal elements frame increased during the intermediate phase and remained prominent in the final phase. Finally, the coverage of personal elements dominated throughout the campaign for one candidate, while the use of other frames became more similar across all three candidates by the end of the campaign.]]></p></abstract>
