Esta investigación exploró los desafíos éticos asociados al uso de IA, específicamente ChatGPT, en el ámbito universitario. La metodología se desarrolló en dos fases: una revisión sistemática de literatura y una investigación de campo mediante encuestas a estudiantes universitarios. Los resultados revelaron una actitud generalmente positiva hacia ChatGPT, con un fuerte reconocimiento de su utilidad y la importancia de la necesidad de la alfabetización en IA. Sin embargo, se identificaron preocupaciones sobre la integridad académica y la potencial promoción de la pereza mental. Se encontró una correlación débil entre la elección de carrera y las percepciones éticas, mientras que la edad no mostró influencia significativa. El estudio también evidenció la necesidad de mejorar las prácticas de citación y verificación de fuentes al utilizar IA. Estos hallazgos proporcionan una base sólida para el desarrollo de políticas institucionales y programas educativos que aborden los desafíos éticos de la IA en la educación superior, enfatizando la importancia de enfoques personalizados según la disciplina académica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education poses significant ethical dilemmas that require a deep understanding to ensure its beneficial and equitable use. This research explored the ethical challenges associated with the use of AI, specifically ChatGPT, in the university setting. The methodology was developed in two phases: a systematic literature review and field research using surveys of university students. The results revealed a generally positive attitude toward ChatGPT, with strong recognition of its usefulness and the importance of AI literacy. However, concerns about academic integrity and the potential promotion of mental laziness were identified. A weak correlation was found between major choice and ethical perceptions, while age showed no significant influence. The study also highlighted the need to improve citation and source verification practices when using AI. These findings provide a solid foundation for the development of institutional policies and educational programs that address the ethical challenges of AI in higher education, emphasizing the importance of tailored approaches according to academic discipline.]]></p></abstract>
