</abstract>

In a scenario where judicial processes are transformed into intricate bureaucratic labyrinths, Kafka’s work presents a profound scrutiny of how individuals become disconnected from government agencies. In this context, the main objective of this article is to analyze Franz Kafka’s “The Trial”, highlighting the similarities between the Kafkaesque narrative and its parallelism with emblematic cases in the Peruvian context. The results show striking similarities between Kafka’s work that portrays a rigorous legal apparatus and the obstacles encountered in the Peruvian judicial system, such as procedural delays, opacity and unethical practices. In conclusion, Kafka’s literature provides a current analysis of bureaucratic judicial systems, drawing parallels with current challenges in Peru, underscoring the critical need for legal reforms to improve transparency and ensure accountability.
</abstract>
