Se indagará en las prácticas socio-espaciales y corporales de ocio en un balneario de mar, Mar del Plata, al sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires. En busca de un acercamiento a las representaciones de género, a los seguimientos o contravenciones en las pautas de lo permitido y a los modos en que se convienen estereotipos sociales, se presentan tres variables de análisis: género, situación cuerpo-espacio y modo de vestir. Para ello, se combinan miradas de carácter cualitativo con el aporte de datos cuantitativos reflejados en el diseño de gráficos de datos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article is aimed at the interpretation of behavioral and social feminine experiences based on a series of photographs from an illustrated magazine of high distribution in Argentina, in the 1930s. Socio-spatial practices and body language attitudes of leisure were studied in a seaside resort, Mar del Plata, located southeast of Buenos Aires Province (Argentina). To explain gender representations, culture and customs of what was allowed and followed as a model, and the way those patterns were socially stereotyped; three variables: gender; body-space situation and the ways of dressing were taken into account. The results are a combination of different perspectives of qualitative character and quantitative data represented in the design of the data graphic.]]></p></abstract>
