Sin embargo, existen microorganismos benéficos que actúan como reguladores de patógenos, debido a su efecto antagónico. El objetivo de esta investigación fue aislar e identificar hongos presentes en suelos agrícolas asociados al cultivo de Saccharum officinarum, así como evaluar la actividad antifúngica de diversas cepas de Bacillus spp., contra Colletotrichum spp. y Endocalyx spp. El aislamiento se realizó con la técnica dilución seriada en placa, posteriormente la cuantificación de unidades formadoras de colonias (UFC), la identificación de hongos edáficos a nivel género y la confrontación dual, se evaluó el porcentaje de inhibición y la clasificación de antagonismo. En la cuantificación de UFC de bacterias no se encontró diferencias significativas. Sin embargo, en las UFC de hongos, S4 mostró diferencia significativa comparado con S1. Se identificaron los géneros: Paecilomyces spp., Colletotrichum spp., Fusarium spp., Aspergillus spp., Endocalyx spp., Penicillium spp., y Dictyoarthrinium spp., el suelo que destacó fue S4 (ejido La Rivera, Ocampo, Tamaulipas) con mayor diversidad fúngica. Las cepas evaluadas B. liquefasciens (B2), B. amyloliquefaciens (B6) y B. subtilis (B1) destacaron por su efecto antagónico positivo. B2 contra Colletotrichum spp. obtuvo un 83.53%, seguida por B6 contra Endocalyx spp. con 81.54%. Aunque B1 mostró porcentajes ligeramente menores (72.08 y 80.24%, respectivamente), fue la única cepa efectiva frente a ambos hongos. En conclusión, S4 destacó por su diversidad fúngica y las cepas B1, B2 y B6 mostraron efecto antagónico positivo, siendo B1 eficaz frente ambos hongos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Phytopathogens are responsible for the greatest economic losses. However, beneficial microorganisms that act as pathogen regulators due to their antagonistic effect. The aim of this research was to isolate and identify fungi present in agricultural soils associated with the cultivation of Saccharum officinarum, as well as to evaluate the antifungal activity of various strains of Bacillus spp, against Colletotrichum spp. and Endocalyx spp. The isolation was performed with the serial dilution plate technique, followed by the quantification of colony forming units (CFU), the identification of soil fungi at genus level and the dual confrontation, the percentage of inhibition and the classification of antagonism were evaluated. No significant differences were found in the quantification of bacterial CFU. However, S4 showed a significant difference in fungal CFU compared to S1. The genera Paecilomyces spp., Colletotrichum spp., Fusarium spp., Aspergillus spp., Endocalyx spp., Penicillium spp. and Dictyoarthrinium spp., were identified. The soil that stood out was S4 (ejido La Rivera, Ocampo, Tamaulipas) with the greatest fungal diversity. The strains evaluated, B. liquefasciens (B2), B. amyloliquefaciens (B6) and B. subtilis (B1) stood out for their antagonistic effect.
