El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar el efecto de dos dosis de fertilización potásica: Fertilización uno: 440 kg ha-1 y Fertilización dos: 340 kg ha-1 en la morfología, calidad de fruto y rendimiento de dos líneas mejoradas y un material criollo de chile soledad o serrano delgado bajo condiciones de temporal. Se establecieron seis tratamientos T1: 440-material criollo, T2: 340-material criollo, T3: 440-P15, T4: 340-P15, T5: 440-P13 y T6: 340-P13. El diseño experimental fue bloques completos al azar, con cuatro repeticiones. La línea mejorada P15 con la fertilización 340 kg ha-1 K, obtuvo los mejores resultados de rendimiento por planta y total con 489.43 g por planta y 14.77 t ha-1, respectivamente, además de altura de planta de 77.73 cm, diámetro de tallo de 14.78 mm, ancho de copa de 64.43 cm, excepto en el número de ramificaciones. Para la calidad de fruto en la clasificación frutos de tamaño grande, las plantas con el tratamiento 3 (440 kg ha-1 K y línea mejorada P15), tuvieron los mejores resultados de peso, longitud y diámetro de fruto con 8.60 g, 9.83 cm y 13.06 mm, respectivamente. La línea mejorada P15 en combinación con la fertilización de 340 kg ha-1 K mostraron efectos significativos en la morfología y rendimiento de este cultivo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Potassium is considered one of the most important macronutrients since it directly affects the essential physiological functions of crops. The inadequate application of this element and the use of native seeds usually have an impact on the quality and yields of various crops. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of two doses of potassium fertilization: Fertilization one: 440 kg ha-1 and Fertilization two: 340 kg ha-1 on the morphology, fruit quality and yield of two improved lines and landrace material from pepper Soledad o Serrano Delgado under storm conditions. Six treatments were established T1: 440-material criollo, T2: 340-material criollo, T3: 440-P15, T4: 340-P15, T5: 440-P13 and T6: 340-P13. The experimental design was completely randomized blocks, with four repetitions. The improved line P15 with fertilization two, obtained the best results in yield per plant and total with 489.43 g per plant and 14.77 t ha-1, respectively, in addition, in morphology: plant height 77.73 cm, stem diameter 14.78 mm, crown width 64.43 cm, except in the number of branches. For fruit quality in the classification of large fruits, the plants with treatment 3 (440 kg ha-1 K and improved line P15) obtained the best results in fruit weight, length and diameter with 8.60 g, 9.83 cm and 13.06 mm respectively.
