The objective of the current work was to identify the causal agent(s) of soursop fruit rots in the state of Nayarit, for which samplings were carried out during the year 2017 in the municipalities of San Blas and Compostela. Five fungal genus associated to dry rot and five fungal genus to soft rot fungi were isolated and identified by pathogenicity tests on healthy soursop fruits and then with molecular identification. Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (access code KX960784.1) and Pestalotiopsis sp. (access code KX960814.1) were identified to be the cause of dry rots, while the fungus Lasiodiplodia pseudotheobromae (access code MH062942.1) were identified to be responsible for soft rots in soursop fruit in Nayarit, Mexico.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El estado de Nayarit es el principal productor de Annona muricata en México, sin embargo, la producción estatal se ve afectada por pudriciones de fruto y hasta el momento no se ha determinado el agente causal. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar a él o los agentes causales de las pudriciones de fruto de guanábana en el estado, para lo cual se realizaron muestreos durante el año 2017 en los municipios de San Blas y Compostela. Se aislaron e identificaron a cinco género de hongos asociados a las pudriciones secas y cinco géneros de hongos a las pudriciones blandas, de los cuales se determinó mediante pruebas de patogenicidad en frutos sanos de guanábana y posteriormente con identificación molecular, que Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (clave de acceso KX960784.1) y Pestalotiopsis sp. (clave de acceso KX960814.1) son los causantes de las pudriciones secas, mientras que el hongo Lasiodiplodia pseudotheobromae (clave de acceso MH062942.1) es responsable de las pudriciones blandas de fruto de guanábana en Nayarit, México.]]></p></abstract>
