Con una aproximación cuantitativa se aplicó &#8220;El Cuestionario de Compromiso Académico&#8221; ( The Student Engagement Questionnaire ) y se empleó una metodología de análisis de modelos de ecuaciones de estructurales. En general, los estudiantes encuestados presentaron percepciones favorables sobre su programa académico. Además, las percepciones positivas sobre las relaciones dentro del ambiente de enseñanza-aprendizaje tuvieron un impacto favorable en el desarrollo de competencias de trabajo en equipo y de orden superior (pensamiento crítico, aprendizaje autogestionado, entre otros). Esta investigación aporta a la comprensión del compromiso académico en estudiantes de posgrado en un contexto latinoamericano post pandemia y realiza recomendaciones a nivel institucional para promover el compromiso de estudiantes de posgrado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as percepções de engajamento acadêmico em estudantes de pós-graduação de seis universidades da cidade de Cali, Colômbia. Com abordagem quantitativa, aplicou-se o " Questionário de Engajamento do aluno " ( The Student Engagement Questionnaire ) e utilizou-se uma metodologia de análise de modelos de equações estruturais. De modo geral, os alunos pesquisados apresentaram percepções favoráveis de seu programa acadêmico. Além disso, as percepções positivas sobre as relações dentro do ambiente de ensino-aprendizagem tiveram um impacto favorável no desenvolvimento do trabalho em equipe e das competências de ordem superior (pensamento crítico, aprendizagem autogestionária, entre outras). Esta pesquisa contribui para a compreensão do engajamento acadêmico em estudantes de pós-graduação em um contexto latino-americano pós-pandemia e faz recomendações em nível institucional para promover o engajamento de estudantes de pós-graduação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study aimed to examine graduate students' perceptions of academic commitment at six universities in Cali, Colombia. The researchers utilized the Student Engagement Questionnaire and employed a quantitative approach and a structural equation modeling. Overall, the surveyed students expressed positive views of their academic programs. Furthermore, their positive perceptions of the teaching-learning environment had a beneficial impact on fostering teamwork and developing higher-order competencies such as critical thinking and self-managed learning. his research enhances our understanding of academic commitment among graduate students in the post-pandemic Latin American context and provides institutional-level recommendations for promoting graduate student commitment.]]></p></abstract>
