Sin embargo, el presente trabajo investigativo tiene como propósito promover un acercamiento a su obra en conexión con las afugias de los tiempos actuales a través de la descripción e interpretación de algunos elementos filosóficos que están en la base del Itinerario, como son: la realidad de la itinerancia, la filosofía como fundamentum y la fruición de la verdad o del ascenso místico. Esta intertextualidad se presenta con el ánimo de comprender e iluminar la situación del hombre contemporáneo quien, en su manera inmanente de asumir el mundo como un turista, se ha distraído de la relación dialéctica que lo conduce por la experiencia cotidiana hasta Dios. La conclusión presenta las figuras del turista y el itinerante como un boceto de la intertextualidad propuesta entre el Itinerarium Mentis in Deum y la situación del hombre contemporáneo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Most of the studies on The Journey of the Mind Into God, written in the 13th century by Saint Bonaventure of Bagnoregio, have been carried out preferably from a theological approach. However, this research aims to promote an approach to his work in connection with the difficulties of current times through the description and interpretation of some philosophical elements that are at the base of the Journey such as: the reality of itinerancy, philosophy as fundamentum and the fruition of truth or mystical ascent. This intertextuality is presented with the intention of understanding and illuminating the situation of contemporary man who, in his immanent way of assuming the world as a tourist, has been distracted from the dialectical relationship that leads him through daily experience to God.The conclusion presents the figures of the tourist and the itinerant as a sketch of the proposed intertextuality between the Itinerarium Mentis in Deum and the situation of contemporary man.]]></p></abstract>
