Debido a la situación económica que se tiene en la que no es fácil ofrecer aumentos de salarios de doble dígito, es necesario analizar el paquete de prestaciones y beneficios que se ofrece en la empresa para identificar si están vigentes y además son importantes para el trabajador. Al llevar a cabo la aplicación de 123 cuestionarios dentro de una empresa del sector manufacturero del noroeste de México, encontramos que el fondo de ahorro, los vales de despensa, el aguinaldo, las instalaciones de trabajo debidamente refrigeradas y las condiciones de seguridad fueron los 5 beneficios/prestaciones más importantes de una lista de 30 que se utilizaron en el estudio.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This research extend the job of Madero (2009a) and show that companies have formal processes of compensation, which have to be continuously reviewed in order to use them as a distinct advantage. Those are a fundamental part in the development of the company, due to the economic situation we have today it&#8217;s not easy to offer to raise salaries, for this reason is important to analyze whether the benefits and/or services provided by the company are currently efficient in terms of satisfaction and importance to workers. In the implementation of 123 questionnaires within a manufacturing company in northwest Mexico, we find that the savings fund, the food stamps, the Christmas bonus, facilities work properly chilled and security conditions were 5 benefits more important from a list of 30 benefits.]]></p></abstract>
