In particular, the alkylation of enolate (S)-7-Li showed substantial (78:22 dr) stereoinduction by the N-(l-phenylethyl)benzamide chiral auxiliary. Addition of DMPU showed no appreciable effect upon the diastereoselectivity.]]></p></abstract>
