Finalidad: Identificar componentes del compromiso de aprendizaje, instrumentos de medición existentes, elementos de andragogía y adaptaciones propuestas en educación superior. Revisión sistemática de literatura del compromiso de aprendizaje, entre 2010 y 2020 en Scielo, Scopus y Web of Science. De 164 artículos se analizaron 22 de acceso abierto con instrumentos cuantitativos. Resultados: Diversidad en la conceptualización teórica, operacionalización y herramientas de medición. Se identificaron 27 instrumentos y 101 dimensiones que se agrupan en cuatro subconstructos: agencial, cognitivo, conductual y emocional. En los instrumentos no se identificó de manera precisa la vinculación entre andragogía y compro miso de aprendizaje adulto. Conclusión: Aunque existen estudios que miden el compromiso de aprendizaje adulto, es preciso atender áreas de oportunidad en definición y medición e integrar variables relativas al bienestar y desarrollo integral.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ Abstract Research to understand the evolution and complexity of Adult Learner Engagement and its relationship with Andragogy. Purpose: to identify components of Learner Engagement, the existing measurement instruments, elements of andragogy and proposed adaptations in higher education. A systematic review of the Learning Commitment literature, between 2010 and 2020 in Scielo, Scopus and Web of Science. Of 164 articles, 22 open access articles were analyzed with quantitative instruments. Results: diversity in theoretical conceptualization, operationalization, and measurement tools. 27 instruments and 101 dimensions were identified that can be grouped into four subconstructs: agency, cognitive, behavioural, and emotional. The instruments did not precisely identify the link between Andragogy and Adult Learner Engagement. Conclusion: some studies measure the learning commitment of adult students; It is necessary to address areas of opportunity in definition and measurement, integrating variables related to well-being and integral development.]]></p></abstract>
