El biol contiene compuestos químicamente similares a los reguladores de crecimiento vegetal y el biosol se emplea como abono orgánico. Además, el biol se considera suplemento de la nutrición vegetal y mejorador de suelo. Por lo que el objetivo del trabajo fue caracterizar químicamente un biol obtenido de la digestión anaerobia de residuos de cosecha de tomate y estiércol bovino a través de cromatografía en placa fina y GC-MS, así como evaluar su efecto sobre el cultivo de tomate usando concentraciones de 5 y 10 % aplicadas de forma foliar y en drench. Se identificó que el biol contenía una alta concentración de giberelinas (432.03 µg/mL) y la presencia de alcaloides y saponinas. Se encontró también en su composición silicato de metilo, ácido láurico y D-limoneno. La aplicación de biol tanto al 5 y 10 % favoreció el crecimiento de las plantas en comparación a los controles.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Currently, different alternatives have been proposed to take advantage of and valorize agricultural industry residues, among which is anaerobic digestion, which allows the generation of digestates of liquid (bioslurry) and solid (biosol) composition. Bioslurry is also considered a plant nutrition supplement and soil enhancer. Therefore, the objective of this study was to chemically characterize a bioslurry obtained from the anaerobic digestion of tomato crop residues and bovine manure using thin-plate chromatography and GC-MS, as well as to evaluate its effect on tomato crops using concentrations of 5 % and 10 % applied foliarly and in drench. It was identified that bioslurry contained a high concentration of gibberellins (432.03 µg/mL) and the presence of alkaloids and saponins. Methyl silicate, lauric acid and D-limonene were also found in its composition. Application of bioslurry at both 5 % and 10 % levels favored plant growth compared to controls.]]></p></abstract>
