<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1405-77432023000300005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1405-77432023000300005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1405-77432023000300005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Se propone el prediseño de una red de drenaje pluvial urbana con un método de optimación que consta de dos partes, en una se plantea la conexión de los pozos de visita de manera que se tenga poco recorrido del agua en sus tuberías; en la otra, se basa en un algoritmo genético para encontrar el menor costo de adquisición de las tuberías y de la excavación necesaria para su instalación, cumpliendo con varias restricciones hidráulicas y constructivas recomendadas en manuales de construcción de redes de este tipo. El procedimiento descrito se hace del enlace de las tuberías que conforman la red (trazo de la red) procurando que se obtenga la menor suma de las longitudes. Se considera que los conductos son de sección circular, donde sus diámetros solo toman valores comerciales. Se calcula la pendiente de cada tubería de la red tratando que la profundidad hidráulica del flujo del agua (tirante) sea de 80 % del diámetro para aproximarse a la capacidad de conducción de flujo del líquido en su interior. Finalmente, se muestra su aplicación a un caso real y se revisa el funcionamiento hidráulico de la red prediseñada simulando con el modelo EPA-SWMM 5.1.015 el flujo a superficie libre no permanente en la red para asegurarse que se cumplieron las restricciones hidráulicas y las hipótesis plantadas con flujo permanente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The predesign of an urban storm drainage network is proposed with an optimization method that consists of two parts, in one the connection of the manholes is proposed so that there is little water path in its pipes and in the other, It is based on a genetic algorithm to find the lowest acquisition cost of the pipes and the excavation necessary for their installation, complying with various hydraulic and constructive restrictions recommended in construction manuals for networks of this type. The procedure described involves the connection of the pipes that make up the network (line of the network), ensuring that the smallest sum of the lengths of them is obtained. The conduits are considered to be circular in section where their diameters only take commercial values. The slope of each pipe of the network is calculated trying that the hydraulic depth of the water flow (tie) is 80 % of the diameter, to approximate the capacity of conducting the flow of the liquid inside. Finally, its application to a real case is shown and the hydraulic operation of the designed network is reviewed, simulating with the EPA-SWMM 5.1.015 model the non-permanent free surface flow in the network to ensure that the hydraulic restrictions and the hypotheses planted with permanent flow.]]></p></abstract>
