Por lavado con hexano, aireación dinámica (AD) y micro extracción en fase sólida (MEFS) se aislaron volátiles de P. philadelphica, los cuales se analizaron e identificaron por cromatografía de gases (CG) y CG acoplada a espectrometría de masas (CG-EM). Los compuestos recolectados por AD y MEFS se identificaron como salicilato de metilo, &#946;-cariofileno, &#946;-pineno, alcohol bencílico, 3-careno, &#946;-elemeno, decanal y germacreno D. Los componentes recolectados lavando las plantas con hexano fueron &#946;-cariofileno, linolenato de etilo, salicilato de metilo, &#946;-pineno, ácido hexadecanoico, linolenato de metilo, alcohol bencílico, germacreno D, 3-careno, &#946;-elemeno y decanal.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study was conducted to isolate and identify the volatile components of husk tomato Physalis philadelphica Lam. Volatiles were collected by washing with hexane and through dynamic aeration (DA) and solid phase micro-extraction (SPME). The volatiles collected were isolated, analyzed and identified with gas chromatography (GC) coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The final compounds collected by DA and SPME were identified as methyl salicylate, &#946;-caryophyllene, &#946;-elemene, decanal and germacrene D. The compounds collected by hexane washing were &#946;-caryophyllene, ethyl linolenate, methyl salicylate, &#946;-pinene, hexadecanoic acid, methyl linolenate, benzyl alcohol, D germacrene, 3 carene, &#946;-elemene and decanal.]]></p></abstract>
