Há, no entanto, o consenso de que os professores de ciências (Química, Física e Biologia) têm um importante papel em sua promoção. Assim, no presente artigo pretende- se analisar elementos de Alfabetização Científica e Tecnológica, suas concepções e dimensões nos projetos pedagógicos de cursos de diferentes instituições brasileiras que ofertam o curso de Química-Licenciatura. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de métodos mistos, na qual foram analisados os PPC de 15 cursos de diferentes instituições das cinco regiões brasileiras no software Iramuteq 0.7 alfa 2. Os resultados demonstram que, a nível de perfil indicado, os cursos indicam indícios da importância das três dimensões analisadas nesse estudo, sendo elas o que se configura como argumento para novas investigações sobre a efetivação desses pressupostos na prática cotidiana dos cursos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Scientific and technological literacy is one of the main objectives of scientific education, however, there are arguments about its definition and possibilities of implementation. There is, though, the consensus that Science teachers (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) have an important role in its promotion. Thus, the present article aimes to analyse elements of Scientifical and Technological Literacy, its concepts and dimensions, in the Pedagogical Projects of Chemistry programs offered on various Brazilian institutions. For such, it was performed a mixed methods research, in which the Pedagogical Projects of 15 Chemistry courses of different institutions from the five Brazilian regions were analyzed in the software Iramuteq 0.7 alpha 2. The results show that the programs indicate the importance of the three dimensions of the STL analyzed in this study, which configures as an argument in favor of further investigations about the implementation of these concepts in the day-to-day practice of these programs.]]></p></abstract>
