Here we describe his work on electrochemistry, which led to the development of the mercury bisulfate battery that carries his name and that at a certain time was used extensively by the French telegraph and post service, as well as in the Crimean war.]]></p></abstract>

En este artículo se describe su trabajo sobre la electroquímica. que llevó al desarrollo de la pila de bisulfato de mercurio que lleva su nombre y que en una época fue usada extensamente por el servicio francés de correos y telégrafos y en la guerra de Crimea.]]></p></abstract>
