Para la construcción de una sociología del arte en México proponemos la recuperación transdisciplinaria como herramienta epistemológica y metodológica de acuerdo con las características que el fenómeno de arte contemporáneo en nuestro país plantea. De esta manera, proponemos desvelar de manera crítica las posibles rutas epistemológicas y metodológicas que logren abrir fronteras teóricas con el fin de establecer un estudio del binomio arte-sociedad acorde con la realidad de nuestro México contemporáneo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article aims to provoke reflection about the role of sociology in the contemporary production of art. For the construction of a sociology of art in Mexico, the authors propose trans-disciplinary recuperation as an epistemological and methodological tool according to the characteristics that the phenomenon of contemporary art in our country puts forward. Thus, they propose to critically reveal the possible epistemological and methodological routes that allow it to open up theoretical frontiers in order to establish a study of the art/society binomial in accordance with the reality of contemporary Mexico.]]></p></abstract>
