La Sigatoka negra (SN) es una de las principales fitopatologías que reduce la producción de banano en México. Desarrollar productos biológicos a base de antagonistas es una actividad preponderante de estudio. Se evaluó la producción de conidiosporas de Trichoderma spp. en fermentación sólida sobre granos de arroz y maíz, y se estudió el efecto in situ de conidiosporas y Streptomyces sp. en la epidemiologia de la SN en banano cv. Gran enano.  Materiales y métodos. En fermentación sólida se evaluó el rendimiento de cuatro cepas de Trichoderma spp. (T-82, T-85, T-94 y T-99) en arroz entero (AE) y maíz quebrado (MQ); se empleó un diseño factorial A×B (A=cepas y B=sustrato). Las dos cepas con mejor rendimiento (T-99 y T-85) y un producto a base de Streptomyces spp. se aplicaron en campo para evaluar la epidemiología de la SN a través de la severidad, promedio ponderado de infección (PPI) y área bajo la curva del progreso de la enfermedad (ABCPE), a través de un diseño de bloques al azar.  Resultados. El MQ incrementó el rendimiento de Trichoderma spp. en 71%, las cepas T-94 (1.41×108 conidiosporas g -1) y T-85 (1.20×108 conidiosporas g -1) presentaron los mayores rendimientos. La cepa T-85 redujo la severidad, PPI y ABCPE de la SN comparado con las aplicaciones del control químico &#8220;Mancozeb&#8221;.  Conclusión. El MQ fue el mejor sustrato para obtener mayor rendimiento en las cepas T-94 y T-85 de Trichoderma spp. La aplicación foliar semanal de R conidiosporas de Trichoderma T-85 redujo la severidad, PPI y ABCPE de la SN en banano cv. Gran enano.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT   Background/Objective. Black Sigatoka (BS) is one of the main phytopathologies that reduces banana production in Mexico. Developing biological products based on antagonists is a predominant study activity. The production of conidiospores of Trichoderma spp. strains was evaluated in solid state fermentation using whole rice grains and cracked corn, and the effect of foliar applications of conidiospores against the BS epidemiology in banana cv. Great dwarf.  Materials and methods. In solid state fermentation, the yield of four strains of Trichoderma spp. (T-82, T-85, T-94 and T-99) in whole rice (WR) and cracked corn (CC) was evaluated, an A×B factorial design was used (A=strains and B=substrate). The two strains with the best yield (T-99 and T-85) and a Streptomyces spp. based product was applied in the field to evaluate the epidemiology of BS through the severity, weighted average of infection (WAI) and area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC), through a randomized block design.  Results. CC increased the yield of Trichoderma spp. in 71%, strains T-94 (1.41×108 conidiospores g -1) and T-85 (1.20×108 conidiospores g -1) achieved the highest yields. The T-85 strain reduced the severity, WAI and AUDPC of BS compared to applications of the chemical control &#8220;Mancozeb&#8221;.  Conclusion.
