Se cuenta con un diseño metodológico de corte cualitativo e interpretativo que indaga en las percepciones y valoraciones de 30 directivos escolares acerca de las posibilidades de desarrollar diferentes prácticas de liderazgo exitoso. Para el análisis de la información se utiliza software especializado; de esta forma se refleja el proceso de teoría fundamentada (codificación teórica, abierta, axial y selectiva). Los resultados evidencian una serie de categorías emergentes que responden a la (im)posibilidad en el desarrollo del liderazgo exitoso. Se otorga un índice de frecuencia categorial (IFC) que permite identificar y organizar el peso de la información. La discusión y conclusiones se centran en un enfoque transversal tanto de los resultados como del objetivo de investigación y que se reportan en el artículo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The present study analyzes the successful leadership development practices of several school headmasters in Andalusia (Spain). In order to do this, we developed a qualitative and interpretive methodological design that investigates the perceptions and evaluations of 30 school headmasters regarding the possibilities of developing different successful leadership practices. Data analysis was carried out through specialized software, thus reflecting the grounded theory process (theoretical, open, axial and selective coding). The results show a series of emerging categories that respond to the (im)possibility of the development of successful leadership. In order to identify and organize the weight of the available information we established a categorical frequency index (CFI). The discussion and conclusions focus on a cross-sectional approach to both the results and the objective of our research reported in this article.]]></p></abstract>
