Este copolímero está constituido de acrilamida en mayor proporción (99 % mol) y una pequeña cantidad de un monómero hidrófobo N,N-dioctilacrilamida (DOAM) (&lt;1 % mol). Bajo ciertas condiciones fisicoquímicas los PA se autoasocian en agregados de tamaño nanométrico formando microgeles físicos temporales con propiedades viscoelásticas. La técnica de microrreología pasiva utiliza la dispersión dinámica de luz (DLS) para obtener información de las propiedades dinámicas locales del PA en solución acuosa, por medio de la difusión de traslación de partículas trazadoras inmersas en el fluido complejo. Con esta técnica experimental el rango de frecuencias es extendido hasta 50,000 s-1, permitiendo obtener mayor información de los módulos viscoelásticos G'(<img src="../../../../../img/revistas/rmf/v56n2/a2s1.jpg">) y G"(<img src="../../../../../img/revistas/rmf/v56n2/a2s1.jpg">). En este trabajo se presenta un estudio de las propiedades viscoelásticas en función de la concentración y tamaño de la partícula trazadora, y también de la concentración del PA. El comportamiento viscoelástico del PA en solución acuosa ha sido interpretado utilizando el modelo de Rubinstein y Semenov [1].]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The experimental techniques of optical microrheology and classical rheology have been applied to study the viscoelastic properties of aqueous solution of an associative copolymer (AP) multisticker in the unentangled semidiluted regimen of concentration. Polymer chains consists of polyacrylamides (99 %mol), hydrophobically modified with low amounts (&lt;1 % mol) of N,N-dioctylacrylamide (DOAM). Under certain physicochemical conditions these AP self assemble in aggregates of nanometric size to form physical transitory microgeles, resulting in viscoelastic fluids. The passive microrheological technique uses dynamic light scattering to obtain the information of the local dynamic properties of aqueous solutions of associating polymers. With these experimental techniques the range of frequencies is extended up to 50,000 s-1, allowing to obtain more information of the moduli G'(<img src="../../../../../img/revistas/rmf/v56n2/a2s1.jpg">) y G"(<img src="../../../../../img/revistas/rmf/v56n2/a2s1.jpg">).
