Actualmente, estos campos, a pesar de ser muy débiles, pueden ser detectados por instrumentos sofisticados, lo que abre un nuevo campo de investigación. Estudios recientes sobre este fenómeno revelan que la detección y el análisis de los campos generados en órganos como el cerebro, corazón, pulmones, hígado y otros, pueden facilitar el diagnóstico y los tratamientos de diversas enfermedades, entre otras aplicaciones. En este trabajo se presenta una comparación entre las técnicas biomagnéticas y los métodos bioeléctricos estándares. El trabajo enfatiza la importancia del uso de ambas técnicas como métodos complementarios de investigación y su utilidad en el diagnóstico de enfermedades y resalta el hecho de que ambas están basadas en los mismos principios físicos.]]></p></abstract>

Despite these fields being so weak, now it is possible to detect them by means of sophisticated equipments, which opens a new research field. Recent studies on this phenomenon reveal that the measurement and analysis of the fields, generated in organs such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver, etc., can be useful in the detection and treatment of several sickness, among other applications. In this work a comparison between biomagnetic and standard bioelectric techniques is provided. The work emphasizes the importance of using both techniques as complementary methods in research and their usefulness in the diagnostic of pathologies and stand out the fact that both methods are based on the same physical principles.]]></p></abstract>

Actualmente, estos campos, a pesar de ser muy d&eacute;biles, pueden ser detectados por instrumentos sofisticados, lo que abre un nuevo campo de investigaci&oacute;n. Estudios recientes sobre este fen&oacute;meno revelan que la detecci&oacute;n y el an&aacute;lisis de los campos generados en &oacute;rganos como el cerebro, coraz&oacute;n, pulmones, h&iacute;gado y otros, pueden facilitar el diagn&oacute;stico y los tratamientos de diversas enfermedades, entre otras aplicaciones.
