El objetivo del trabajo fue analizar la variabilidad espacio-temporal de la Temperatura de Superficie Terrestre (Land Surface Temperature, LST por sus siglas en inglés) en diferentes tipologías de EVP costeros y su relación con parámetros morfológicos y funcionales que los definen. Se abordaron cinco EVP del frente fluvial del río Limay, sujetos a procesos de renovación urbana, en el Área Metropolitana de Neuquén (Argentina). Primeramente, se caracterizaron los EVP a dos escalas espaciales, en función de su distribución regional, y a nivel local y microlocal en virtud de la distribución espacio-temporal de la vegetación y de seis dimensiones asociadas a aspectos morfológicos, funcionales y sociales. Seguidamente, se examinó la distribución espacio-temporal de la LST en los EVP y su relación con parámetros morfológicos y funcionales. Los índices espectrales LST y NDVI se obtuvieron mediante el procesamiento digital de imágenes satelitales, seleccionadas en función de años hidrológicos húmedos y secos, así como estaciones estivales e invernales. Se realizaron mapas temáticos, análisis estadístico descriptivo y exploración de relaciones entre LST y NDVI. Se identificaron variaciones de los índices vinculados al año hidrológico, estaciones del año e intervenciones antrópicas. Asimismo, se observó influencia de la morfología, organización interna y distancia al curso de agua. Los hallazgos aportan al cuerpo emergente de conocimiento en torno a la vinculación entre SE y configuración del paisaje, específicamente en un contexto global de creciente revalorización e intervención de frentes fluviales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The riverfronts converted into coastal public green spaces (PGS) have been linked to ecosystem services (ES) for temperature regulation. The aim of the work was to analyze the spatio-temporal variability of the Land Surface Temperature (LST) in different typologies of coastal PGS and its relationship with morphological and functional parameters that define them. Five PGSs were addressed on the Limay riverfront, subject to urban renewal processes, in the Metropolitan Area of Neuquén (Argentina). First, the PGSs were characterized at two spatial scales, based on their regional distribution, and at the local and microlocal level by virtue of the spatio-temporal distribution of the vegetation and 6 dimensions associated with morphological, functional and social aspects. Next, the spatiotemporal distribution of the LST in the PGS and its relationship with morphological and functional parameters were examined. The LST and NDVI spectral indices were obtained through digital processing of satellite images, selected based on wet and dry hydrological years, as well as summer and winter seasons. Thematic maps, descriptive statistical analysis and exploration of relationships between LST and NDVI were performed. Variations of the indices linked to the hydrological year, seasons of the year and anthropic interventions were identified. Likewise, the influence of morphology, internal organization and distance to the watercourse was observed. The findings contribute to the emerging body of knowledge around the link between ES and configuration of the landscape, specifically in a global context of growing revaluation and intervention of riverfronts.]]></p></abstract>
