Objetivo: Analizar la riqueza, abundancia y diversidad de micromicetos en un Vertisol con diferentes sistemas de uso de suelo mediante una evaluación de la similitud e influencia de las propiedades fisicoquímicas del suelo.  Métodos: Se colectaron 24 muestras de suelo, 3 muestras por cada uso de suelo (matorral espinoso tamaulipeco, pastizal, agrícola y plantación de Eucalyptus spp.) y a dos profundidades (0-5 y 5-30 cm). Se utilizó el método de dilución en placa en dos medios de cultivo (EMA y RBA), contabilizando y aislando los micelios para su identificación morfológica.  Resultados y conclusiones: Se obtuvieron 734 morfoespecies en los cuatro usos de suelo, logrando identificar 33 géneros y 90 especies, encontrándose diferencias entre diversidad, riqueza y abundancia entre los usos de suelo y profundidad, pero no para la interacción. Cladosporium cladosporioides, Aspergillus terreus, A. ustus, Fusarium oxysporum y Penicillium glabrum se presentaron en los cuatro usos de suelo, mientras que el 48 % de los aislamientos solo ocurrieron en algunos de ellos. Las propiedades fisicoquímicas presentaron baja asociación, siendo arcilla, fierro y CIC, las más explicativas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Background:  Land use changes affect the physicochemical properties of the soil, influencing the presence, distribution, and abundance of present microorganisms.  Objective:  To analyze the richness, abundance and diversity of micromycetes in a Vertisol with different land use systems by evaluating the similarity and influence of the physicochemical properties of the soil.  Methods:  24 soil samples were collected, three samples for each land use (Tamaulipas thorny scrub, grassland, agricultural and Eucalyptus spp. plantation) and at two depths (0-5 and 5-30 cm). The plate dilution method was used in two culture media (EMA and RBA), the mycelia were quantified and isolated for its morphological identification.  Results and conclusions: 734 morphospecies were obtained, of which 33 genera and 90 species were identified in the four-land use system, differences were found between diversity, richness and abundance for land use system and depth, but no in the interaction. Cladosporium cladosporioides, Aspergillus terreus, A. ustus, Fusarium oxysporum and Penicillium glabrum were presented in four land use system, whereas the 48 % of isolations only occurred some of them. Physicochemical properties showed low association, being clay, iron and CIC, the most explanatory.]]></p></abstract>
