Las troponinas de alta sensibilidad son los biomarcadores cardiacos con mejor valor predictivo negativo (95%); por lo tanto, facilitan la exclusión temprana del infarto agudo al miocardio con la finalidad de disminuir la estancia hospitalaria y la muerte. Las troponinas son una herramienta que nos facilitan la toma de decisiones clínicas en el paciente con dolor torácico, de manera que implementar protocolos facilitará la toma de decisiones ya que nos permitirán estratificar mejor el riesgo más allá de un diagnóstico definitivo. Sin embargo, el gran problema de estos estudios es la falta del juicio clínico, considerando que el grado de recomendación debe mejorarse, es adecuado tomar en cuenta la utilización de scores de riesgo según las directrices de cada centro de trabajo. Antes de aplicar un protocolo en su hospital es importante conocer la troponina que se usa en su laboratorio central.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The most frequent cause of mortality worldwide is due to coronary heart disease; Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction is necessary. High-sensitivity troponins are the cardiac biomarkers with the best negative predictive value (95%), therefore they facilitate the early exclusion of acute myocardial infarction with the aim of reducing hospital stay and death. Troponins are a tool that facilitates clinical decision-making in patients with chest pain, so implementing protocols will facilitate decision-making as they will allow us to better stratify the risk beyond a definitive diagnosis. However, the big problem is of these studies is the lack of clinical judgment, considering that the degree of recommendation must be improved, it is appropriate to consider the use of risk scores according to the guidelines of each workplace. Before applying a protocol in your hospital, it is important to know the troponin used in your central laboratory.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: A doença cardíaca coronariana é a causa mais comum de mortalidade em todo o mundo; portanto, o diagnóstico e o tratamento precoces do infarto agudo do miocárdio são necessários. As troponinas de alta sensibilidade são os biomarcadores cardíacos com o melhor valor preditivo negativo (95%) e, portanto, facilitam a exclusão precoce do infarto agudo do miocárdio para reduzir a permanência no hospital e a mortalidade. As troponinas são uma ferramenta para facilitar a tomada de decisão clínica no paciente com dor torácica, portanto, a implementação de protocolos facilitará a tomada de decisão, permitindo-nos estratificar melhor o risco além de um diagnóstico definitivo. No entanto, o grande problema desses estudos é a falta de julgamento clínico, considerando que o grau de recomendação deve ser melhorado, é apropriado levar em conta o uso de escores de risco de acordo com as diretrizes de cada centro de trabalho.
