El trabajo busca llenar una brecha en el conocimiento en torno a las desigualdades y alfabetismo digital en México. Se utiliza la Encuesta Nacional sobre Disponibilidad y Uso de Tecnologías de Información en los Hogares 2022 para construir tres modelos logísticos binomiales y multinomiales para determinar cómo las variables de sexo, edad, condición laboral, estrato económico y características regionales se asocian con el uso de correo electrónico, ofimática y habilidades avanzadas en computación. Los resultados sugieren que el estrato socioeconómico es una de las variables para determinar el uso pleno de las herramientas analizadas. También se encuentra que la brecha digital de género no es tan marcada en comparación con variables como la condición laboral, edad o región.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of the paper is to identify the socio-demographic and regional determinants of the use of e-mail, office software and the level of skills such as database management or programming. The work seeks to fill a gap in knowledge about inequalities and digital literacy in Mexico. It uses the National Information and Technologies Usage Survey of 2022 to build three binomial and multinomial logistic models to determine how the variables of gender, age, employment status, economic stratum and regional characteristics are associated with the use of email, office automation and advanced computer skills. The results suggest that socioeconomic stratum is one of the variables in determining the full use of the tools analyzed. It is also found that the gender digital divide is not as marked in comparison with variables such as employment status, age, or region.]]></p></abstract>
