El método se basa en utilizar un modelo de rezagos distribuidos para cada una de las empresas. Los resultados arrojan la presencia de inercia del consumidor en las líneas de bajo costo. La principal limitación del estudio es que no se incluyen otras variables que pueden afectar la inercia. La originalidad del artículo reside en ser uno de los pocos aplicados a este sector. Los hallazgos sugieren que los usuarios de las líneas de bajo costo presentan lealtad con ellas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The main objective of this paper is to determine the existence of consumer inertia in Mexican aviation market, particularity in low cost carriers. I use a distributed lag model for each low- cost Mexican airline. The results suggest the existence of consumer inertia indicates low cost airlines passengers show loyalty. The main limitation is that I do not include another variable.]]></p></abstract>
