Se organizaron grupos de discusión con obreros del sector automotriz, químico, agentes de centros telefónicos y empleadas domésticas. Los principales hallazgos indican que la tecnología es deseable cuando sirve para apoyar el trabajo del empleado, mas no para reemplazarlo. Los participantes expresan su pesimismo respecto a posibles políticas públicas que pudieran compensar su desempleo, así como de la consideración de los empresarios para sustituir a los empleados por máquinas. El valor de este trabajo radica en el abordaje de un fenómeno actual que investiga la opinión de actores que, si bien son los más afectados, no influyen en la toma de decisiones de los procesos de automatización.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to understand the perceptions of employees with a high risk of technological replacement on robotization in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. Through discussion groups, participants of the automotive and chemical industry, agents of call centers and domestic employees gave their opinions on robotization and some public policies that could compensate for their unemployment. Findings show that participants are pessimistic regarding public policies, as well as of their employers in their consideration of the well being of workers. Since this study was made from a qualitative perspective, it does not intend to have statistical representativity. However, the value of this research was to obtain opinions from the people who, being the most affected, do not have a say in the automatization process decisions.]]></p></abstract>
