Se identifican también las patentes en nanotecnología generada desde Argentina, Brasil Chile y Colombia, con las interacciones de estas naciones entre sí y el efecto de la participación de la academia en la generación de dichas patentes. Finalmente, se describe el proceso de solicitud de patentes en uno de los países miembros del tratado de cooperación en patentes PCT y resultados exitosos de empresas que trabajan en nanotecnología en la región.]]></p></abstract>
