Metodología:  A través de 283 cuestionarios aplicados a productores, se evaluaron condiciones socioeconómicas, diversificación, tecnología, vulnerabilidad y adaptación al cambio climático en regiones de Oaxaca, Puebla y Veracruz.  Resultados:  Se encontró confluencia de perturbaciones que han generado fenómenos como cambios en la estructura productiva, migración, desagrarización y cambios demográficos en el campesinado.  Limitaciones:  Los resultados tienen un alcance geográfico y tipo de productor limitado, que no permite hacer generalizaciones completas a nivel nacional.  Conclusiones:  Existe baja resiliencia ante el cambio climático en los sistemas estudiados. Se requieren estrategias integrales para fortalecer capacidades adaptativas de los productores e impulsar sistemas diversificados y sostenibles.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Objective:  Analyze the resilience of socio-ecological coffee systems to climate change in three regions of Mexico.  Methodology:  Through 283 surveys of producers, socioeconomic conditions, diversification, technology, vulnerability, and adaptation to climate change were evaluated in regions of Oaxaca, Puebla, and Veracruz.  Results:  A confluence of disturbances was found that have generated phenomena such as changes in the productive structure, migration, de-agrarianization, and demographic changes in the peasantry.  Limitations:  The results have a limited geographic scope and type of producer, which does not allow for complete generalizations at the national level.  Conclusions:  There is low resilience to climate change in the systems studied. Comprehensive strategies are required to strengthen adaptive capacities of the producers and promote diversified and sustainable systems.]]></p></abstract>
