En el programa participan 99 alumnos, 57 niñas y 42 niños de cuarto a sexto grado de primaria. Se trata de una investigación cuantitativa, con diseño experimental A-B, donde A es el pretratamiento y B es el programa de intervención cognitivo-conductual, manipulándose la variable de conductas externalizantes. El análisis de resultados consiste en a) la inspección visual de traslapamiento de conductas externalizantes y b) la inspección visual del cambio de tendencia en los datos (fases A-B). Se concluye que el programa de intervención fue efectivo al reducirse las conductas externalizantes evaluadas, por lo que se ofrece una alternativa de intervención breve para la disminución de las conductas externalizantes en el aula.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral intervention program to reduce externalizing behaviors in school environments. 99 students participated, 57 girls and 42 boys from fourth to sixth grade of primary school. It is a quantitative research, with design experiments A-B, A is the pretreatment and B is the cognitive-behavioral intervention program, manipulating the variable: externalizing behaviors. The analysis of results was: a) Visual inspection of overlap of externalizing behaviors; b) visual inspection of the trend change in the data (phases A-B). It is concluded that the intervention program was effective in reducing the externalizing behaviors evaluated, so it offers a brief intervention alternative for the reduction of externalizing behaviors in the classroom.]]></p></abstract>
