Los resultados del análisis estadístico chi-cuadrada muestran que las variables &#8220;hombres de 15-30 años&#8221;, &#8220;búsqueda visual&#8221; y &#8220;tamaño de grupo&#8221; influyen en la decisión de realizar el cruce en luz roja, mientras que el uso de casco, celular, cubrebocas, bicicleta pública de renta y chaleco reflectivo se asociaron al respeto de la señal de alto durante la duración de la indicación de luz roja en el semáforo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract An observational study is presented through video recordings, with the aim to identify the factors that motivate the cyclist&#8217;s decision to not respect the red light in a traffic light intersection. The results of the chi-square statistical analysis shown the following factors: &#8220;men aged 15-30 years&#8221;, the use of &#8220;visual search&#8221; and the &#8220;size group&#8221;, influence the decision to cross in red light. While the use of a cycling helmet, cell phone, face-mask, bicycle of sharing system and reflective vest are associated to the respect of the stop sign while the red-light indication is on at the traffic light.]]></p></abstract>
