Desde 1935 se la cultiva a partir de la historia como problema antropológico. Pero también desde sus inicios, afloraron las divergencias más profundas entre disciplinas y en su interior. La mayoría de aportes internos no dejó de recoger una historia controversial, ya fuera como un avance evolutivo, luego como un movimiento pendular, y al fin como una sucesión paradigmática. En todos los casos hubo la diversidad &#8220;plural&#8221; más extrema y personalizada. En contrapartida, la historia profesional de George Stocking Jr. procuró forjar un canon que algunos seguidores tomaron como ortodoxia historicista. Otra vuelta a la tuerca, porque el campo profesional siguió dividido, una condición que, lejos de variar, se ha profundizado. En algunos contextos se habla de la desaparición de la nominación de antropología unitaria. Y los aportes de esa historia presentista siguen documentando la divergencia extrema.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Anthropology very own historiography is extensive and considerable. Since 1935 it has been practiced trough history as an anthropological issue. However since the beginning, the deepest divergences surfaced interiorly and between fields. Most of the contributions were full of historical controversy, being as an evolutionary advance, then as pendulum movement, and finally as paradigmatic succession. In all cases there was a more extreme and personalized &#8220;plural&#8221; diversity. In the other hand, George Stoking Jr&#8217;s professional history procured to forge a canon that several followers took as historicist orthodox. Another turn to the screw given that the professional field remained divided a condition that far from changing it has endured. Some milieus even consider the disappearance of the so called unitary anthropology nomination. And the contribution of the presentist history continues to document the continuous divergence.]]></p></abstract>
