Se utilizaron 72 muestras de pechuga de origen nacional y 72 de origen importado, y se detectó la presencia de zeranol y trembolona en ambas muestras, el compuesto DES no fue detectado en ninguna de las pechugas evaluadas. Las concentraciones de zeranol entre la carne de origen nacional e importando se encontraron por debajo de las normas mexicanas y no mostraron diferencias estadísticas entre ellos. La presencia de acetato de trembolona estuvo por debajo de los límites permitidos por las normas mexicanas. Los resultados sugieren que es necesario regular de forma rutinaria las prácticas de las granjas avícolas, ya que un mal uso de dosis efectivas de estos compuestos pueden ser un riesgo para la salud del consumidor.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The objective was to identify the presence and concentration of the hormones Diethylstilbestrol (DES), zeranol and trenbolone acetate using an immunoenzymatically assay in local and imported chicken breast samples. 72 samples of breast of local and 72 samples of imported origin were used, zeranol and trenbolone were detected of local and imported meat; the hormone DES was not detected in any samples analyzed. Zeranol concentrations for local and imported were below to the Mexican regulations, furthermore, they did not show statistical differences between them. The presence of trenbolone acetate was found to be below the limits allowed by the Mexican regulations. The results suggest that it is necessary a regulation of poultry farms to avoid inadequate doses that can be a risk for the health of the consumer.]]></p></abstract>
