<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2007-80642022000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2007-80642022000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.mx/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2007-80642022000100306&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Objetivo:  evaluar el Curso Taller STEAM, impartido en línea, como un programa de desarrollo profesional docente a maestros de educación secundaria, el cual consistió en formar docentes en el diseño de un proyecto educativo basado en el enfoque STEAM.  Diseño metodológico:  se implementaron seis módulos de aprendizaje y dos instrumentos semiestructurados; el primero evalúa los módulos y el segundo recopila los conocimientos obtenidos en el curso y aplicados en su práctica docente. Las respuestas se clasificaron de acuerdo a una adaptación del modelo de evaluación de la capacitación de Kirkpatrick.  Resultados:  los resultados muestran un alto grado de satisfacción de los participantes y compromiso para su aplicación en el aula. Los docentes manifestaron que después del curso, han incorporado en su planeación didáctica las metodologías activas propias del modelo STEAM, estrategias para el desarrollo de habilidades para el siglo XXI y las tecnologías de la información.  Limitaciones: los resultados de esta investigación, están limitados por la circunstancia en la que el curso fue impartido: a distancia, debido a las condiciones de la emergencia sanitaria, ya que fue pensado originalmente, para impartirse de manera presencial.  Hallazgos:  uno de los hallazgos importantes es haber identificado por parte de los profesores participantes, expresiones de confianza en los aprendizajes adquiridos y compromiso para llevarlos a la práctica en sus salones de clase. Se encuentra la necesidad que tienen los docentes de ejemplos y prácticas de contenidos curriculares aplicados al aula, del enfoque educativo STEAM.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Purpose: To evaluate the STEAM workshop course for teachers, taught online, as a teacher professional development program for secondary school teachers, which consisted of training teachers in the design of an educational project based on the STEAM approach.  Methodological design: Six learning modules and two semi-structured instruments were implemented; the first assesses the modules and the second compiles the knowledge obtained in the course and applied to their teaching practice. Responses were classified according to an adaptation of Kirkpatrick's training evaluation model.  Results: Results show a high degree of satisfaction from the participants in the course and commitment to put their learning into their praxis. Teachers stated that after the course, they incorporated the active methodologies of the STEAM model as well as strategies for the development of skills for the 21st century and information technologies into their didactic planning.  Research limitations: The results of this research are limited by the circumstance in which the course was taught, remotely, due to the conditions of the health emergency since it was originally intended to be taught on site.  Findings: An important finding is to have identified, from participating teachers, expressions of confidence in their learning acquisition and commitment to put it into practice in their classrooms. Additionally, there is a need of examples and practices of curricular content applied to the classroom of the STEAM educational approach for teachers.]]></p></abstract>
