La presente investigación tiene por objetivo explorar y analizar la posible presencia de síntomas de estrés académico, así como determinar su relación con la procrastinación académica, el uso inapropiado del internet o la adicción a las redes sociales durante el confinamiento. Participaron 246 adolescentes del estado de Puebla (México), la investigación es descriptiva, correlacional con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental. Se hallaron síntomas de estrés académico y su asociación con el uso inadecuado del internet o las redes sociales; aunque el estrés académico ciertamente no se correlacionó con la procrastinación académica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In Mexico, the different educational levels began distance classes from the confinement by COVID-19; therefore, the students had to resort to ICTs. The present research aims to explore and analyze the possible presence of symptoms of academic stress, as well as determine its relationship with academic procrastination, inappropriate use of the internet or addiction to social networks during confinement. 246 adolescents from the state of Puebla (Mexico) participated, the research is descriptive, correlational with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. Symptoms of academic stress and its association with inappropriate use of the internet or social networks were found, although academic stress certainly did not correlate with academic procrastination.]]></p></abstract>
