La alfabetización en salud hace referencia a la utilización de información por parte de las personas, para la toma de decisiones relacionadas a la salud individual y colectiva. Las instituciones dedicadas a esto suelen presentar limitantes narrativas, por lo que conocer aspectos para el análisis y propuesta de iniciativas alternativas, contribuye al fortalecimiento del proceso de alfabetización y sus involucrados. A través del método etnográfico y de investigación narrativa, este trabajo reflexiona acerca de estos aspectos clave con base en una campaña de uso de condón divulgada en Facebook, con la finalidad de aportar bases teórico-metodológicas para la alfabetización en salud.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Telling stories with structures that include languages adaptable to the message is the natural way we have to transmit information. Health literacy refers to the use of information by people to make decisions related to individual and collective health. The institutions dedicated to this, usually present narrative limitations, so knowing aspects for the analysis and proposal of alternative initiatives contributes to the strengthening of the literacy process and its stakeholders. Through the ethnographic method and narrative research, this work reflects on these key aspects based on a campaign for the use of condoms published on Facebook, in order to provide theoretical-methodological bases for health literacy.]]></p></abstract>
