El objetivo de este trabajo se centra en analizar y dar a conocer la competitividad logística de doce puertos que conforman este &#8220;Collar&#8221;, para lo cual se aplicaron cuatro subíndices de desempeño logístico o LPI (por sus siglas en inglés) que han sido desarrollados por el Banco Mundial y cuyo propósito es evaluar tanto la competitividad como la calidad de los servicios logísticos, así como los precios y tiempos de entrega. Estos índices permitieron denotar el potencial e importancia competitiva de los puertos de Grecia y Qatar. Así, este trabajo se sustenta bajo el supuesto de que la infraestructura existente en los puertos que conforman el &#8220;Collar de Perlas de China&#8221; genera competitividad logística y presencia internacional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract &#8220;The Strip-Route Initiative&#8221; strategically connects three continents, which form a closed circuit of land and sea, called &#8220;China Pearl Necklace&#8221;. The objective of this work is to analyze and publicize the logistic competitiveness of twelve ports that make up this Collar; for which, four sub-indices of logistic performance (LPI) were applied, which have been developed by the World Bank, and which aim to assess both the competitiveness, and the quality of logistics services, as well as prices and delivery times. These indices showed the potential and competitive importance of the ports of Greece and Qatar. Thus, this work is based on the assumption that the existing infrastructure in the ports that make up China&#8217;s pearl necklace generates logistical competitiveness and international presence.]]></p></abstract>
