Se estudian siete tipos de paneles apoyados en dos direcciones, los cuales se modelaron como colados monolíticamente y no monolíticamente con sus apoyos, considerando que los paneles están apoyados en sus bordes sobre vigas principales o sobre muros de mampostería confinada. La relación del lado corto entre el lado largo de los paneles se varió de 0.5 a 1 con incrementos de 0.1. Los coeficientes numéricos calculados se comparan con los coeficientes actualmente recomendados por las Normas Técnicas Complementarias para el Análisis y Diseño de Estructuras de Concreto del Reglamento de Construcciones del Distrito Federal de 2004 y con los recomendados para el Eurocódigo de 1992. Se demuestra que en el 50% de los casos estudiados, los coeficientes de diseño recomendados actualmente están subestimados, por lo que se recomienda actualizarlos por los calculados numéricamente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this paper, simplified flexural moment coefficients for the design of reinforced concrete rectangular slabs, computed with computational mechanics, are proposed. Seven kinds of two-way panels are studied, which were modelled as cast monolithically and not cast monolithically with their supporting beams, considering that these panels are supported on principal beams or confined masonry walls. The ratio of the short span to the long span length was from 0.5 to 1 with increments of 0.1. These computed coefficients are compared with the regulatory coefficients recommended by the current provisions of the Mexican reinforced concrete guidelines of Mexico´s Federal District Code 2004 and with the regulatory coefficients recommended by the Eurocode 1992. It is shown that in 50%of the studied cases, the currently provided design coefficients are underestimated, so they must be updated.]]></p></abstract>

Sete tipos de painéis com suporte em duas direções são estudados, os quais são modelados como monoliticamente vertidos e como não-monoliticamente vertidos, onde se considera que os painéis são suportados sobre vigas ou paredes de alvenaria confinados. A relação entre o lado curto e o lado comprido dos painéis variou-se de 0,5 a 1 em incrementos de 0,1. Os coeficientes numéricos calculados comparam-se com os coeficientes atualmente recomendados pelas Normas Técnicas Complementares para Análise e Dimensionamento de Estruturas de Concreto das regras de construção do Distrito Federal de 2004 e pelo Eurocódigo de 1992.
