Utilizando un enfoque cuantitativo, se aplicó un cuestionario sobre la selección de criterios de elección de carrera y la selección de los rasgos de personalidad asociados con cada una de las licenciaturas. Mediante las técnicas de estadística descriptiva y análisis de factores se obtuvo como resultado que no hay un perfil particular de personalidad de los estudiantes para cada licenciatura y que estos eligen una carrera profesional en negocios principalmente por influencias externas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this analysis was to understand the criteria, perceptions and personality features related to choosing a professional path in business. By using a quantitative approach, a questionnaire was applied to determine the selection of criteria when choosing a career, as well as the selection of personality features associated to each academic degree. Through descriptive statistical techniques and factor analysis the outcome was that there is no such specific personality profile of student for every bachelor&#8217;s degree and the fact that they mainly choose a professional path in business out of external influence.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo do presente estudo foi entender os critérios, percepções e traços de personalidade associados com a escolha de uma carreira profissional em negócios. Utilizando enfoque quantitativo, aplicou-se um questionário sobre a seleção de critérios de escolha de profissão e a seleção dos traços de personalidade associados com cada curso. Mediante técnicas de estatística descritiva e análise de fatores, obteve-se como resultado que não existe um perfil específico de personalidade dos estudantes para cada curso e que eles escolhem uma carreira profissional em negócios principalmente por influências externas.]]></p></abstract>
