Através da etnografia acessamos e buscamos compreender como as crianças produzem significados e os investem de sentidos subjetivos mediante processos de geracionalização desafiadores da ordem geracional estabelecida. Em causa estarão as posições paradoxais da pesquisadora quando, ao viver as dialéticas da agência dos adultos e das crianças, no trabalho de aprender a aprender com elas em processos de socialização que envolvem os seus mundos socioculturais, tem que lidar com o adultocentrismo. Assim, a etnografia, enquanto processo de comunicação intercultural e de afetação com o Outro/criança, torna-se numa experiência transformadora. Este texto procura analisar um episódio etnográfico acerca de como o adulto aprendeu determinados saberes e fazeres com as crianças de uma comunidade piscatória no norte de Portugal, com idades entre 6 e 14 anos, quando se encontravam em espaços públicos abertos. Discute-se a subjetividade e reflexividade da etnógrafa enquanto trilha proximidades nos encontros com as crianças e aprende que para compreender a complexidade dos seus mundos precisa viver os seus lugares de corpo inteiro, imerso em afetos, emoções e sensorialidades.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Ethnographies with children, recognized as useful methodology to produce other knowledge about them and their childhoods, have contributed to consolidate the Studies of Childhood. Via ethnography as intercultural communication process and affectation with the Other/child, we access and seek to understand how they produce meanings and invest subjective senses into them, through processes of generationalisation. That challenge the established generational order. It will be pointed the paradoxical positions of the researcher when, in living the dialectics of the agency of adults and children, in the fielded work in open public spaces, have to deal with adultcentrism, and have to &#8220;learn to learn&#8221; with them, in socialization with determined corporal practices involve their socio-cultural worlds. Thus, ethnography as a process of intercultural communication and affectation with the Other/child becomes a transformative experience. This text attempts to analyse an ethnographic episode about how the adult learned certain knowledge and doings with the children of a fishing community in the north of Portugal, aged between 6 and 14 years, when they were in open public spaces. At discussion is the subjectivity and reflexivity of the ethnographer while she trails proximities in the encounters with children and learns that, in order to understand the complexity of their worlds, she must live their places and activities of whole body, immerse in affections, emotions and sensorialities.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Las etnografías con niños, reconocidas como una metodología útil para la producción de otro conocimiento sobre ellos mismos y sus infancias, contribuyen a consolidar los estudios de la infancia. Mediante la etnografía, entendida como un proceso de comunicación intercultural y de afectación con el Otro-niño, accedemos y buscamos comprender cómo ellos producen significados y los envisten de sentidos subjetivos mediante procesos de generacionalización desafiantes del orden generacional establecido. Están en juego las posturas paradójicas de la investigadora durante el trabajo de campo hecho en espacios públicos abiertos cuando al vivir la dialéctica de la agencia de los adultos y los niños tuvo que enfrentarse con el adultocentrismo, y aprender a aprender con ellos en procesos de socialización que envuelven determinadas prácticas del cuerpo y sus mundos socioculturales. En este texto se analiza un episodio etnográfico acerca de cómo el adulto aprendió ciertos conocimientos y prácticas con niños entre 6 y 14 años que se encontraban en espacios abiertos de una comunidad de pescadores al norte de Portugal. Se discute la subjetividad y la reflexividad de la etnógrafa como una guía cercana en los encuentros con los niños y aprende que, para comprender la complejidad de sus mundos, necesita vivir sus lugares y actividades del cuerpo entero, inmerso en afectos, emociones y sensorialidades.]]></p></abstract>
