Por lo que, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre las condiciones laborales y la satisfacción laboral y el efecto moderador del género. Se utilizó una encuesta autoadministrada a una muestra de trabajadores de las empresas hoteleras de la Zona Metropolitana del Sur de Tamaulipas. Los datos recolectados fueron analizados a través el modelo de moderación con ayuda de la interfaz de PROCESS, en el software estadístico SPSS Statistics versión 24, realizando una moderación por cada escala de condiciones laborales (ambientales, ergonómicas y económicas) en relación con la satisfacción intrínseca y extrínseca. Los resultados muestran efectos significativos entre las condiciones laborales ambientales y ergonómicas en la satisfacción laboral intrínseca y extrínseca, mientras que las condiciones laborales económicas no muestran efectos significativos en ningún tipo de satisfacción. Respecto al género, éste solo modera la relación entre condiciones laborales ambientales y satisfacción laboral intrínseca.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: There is an opportunity to delve deeper into the topic of the effects of working conditions on job satisfaction from the perspective of gender studies. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the relationship between working conditions and job satisfaction and the moderating effect of gender. A self-administered survey was used for a sample of workers from hotel companies in the Southern Metropolitan Area of Tamaulipas. The data collected was analyzed through the moderation model with the help of the PROCESS interface, in the statistical software SPSS Statistics version 24, performing a moderation for each scale of working conditions (environmental, ergonomic and economic) in relation to intrinsic satisfaction and extrinsic. The results show significant effects between environmental and ergonomic working conditions on intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction, while economic working conditions do not show significant effects on any type of satisfaction. Regarding gender, this only moderates the relationship between environmental working conditions and intrinsic job satisfaction.]]></p></abstract>
