El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la susceptibilidad de poblaciones de B. tabaci mediante plaguicidas químicos y orgánicos en zonas productoras de melón en la Comarca Lagunera. En el año 2023, se recolectaron cuatro poblaciones de B. tabaci en las localidades de Matamoros, Coahuila, Esmeralda, Tlahualilo y Ceballos, Durango. Se realizaron bioensayos mediante la técnica de inmersión de hoja para determinar la concentración letal media (CL50), así como la obtención de la curva dosis-mortalidad y la proporción de resistencia en base a una línea susceptible (Njcs). De acuerdo con los resultados los extractos de mostaza, ajo y los ingredientes activos Imidacloprid y Dimetoato obtuvieron la CL50 más alta con valores de 430.84, 404.19, 449.71 y 1 607 ppm en la población Matamoros. Para los ingredientes activos Lambda-cyalotrina y Clorantraniliprol la población de Ceballos presentó valores CL50 de 234.18 y 165.31 ppm respectivamente. En el caso de la proporción de resistencia, la población Matamoros obtuvo los valores más altos para los extractos de mostaza y ajo además de imidaclorpid y Dimetoato con 16.23, 11.85, 11.89 y 6.12 X respectivamente. Para los ingredientes activos Lambda cyalotrina y Clorantraniliprol la población Ceballos alcanzó valores de 12.7 y 6.71 X. De acuerdo con los resultados, la población Matamoros presentó mayor resistencia a los ingredientes activos evaluados en comparación con la línea susceptible.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Melon crops are affected by Bemisia tabaci, which causes losses of up to 100% of the production; to control this pest, chemical active ingredients that can generate resistance are used. This research aimed to determine the susceptibility of B. tabaci populations through chemical and organic pesticides in melon-producing areas in the Comarca Lagunera. In 2023, four populations of B. tabaci were collected in the localities of Matamoros, Coahuila, Esmeralda, Tlahualilo and Ceballos, Durango. Bioassays were performed using the leaf immersion technique to determine the median lethal concentration (LC50), as well as to obtain the dose-mortality curve and the resistance ratio based on a susceptible line (Njcs). According to the results, the extracts of mustard and garlic and the active ingredients Imidacloprid and Dimethoate obtained the highest LC50, with values of 430.84, 404.19, 449.71 and 1 607 ppm in the Matamoros population. For the active ingredients Lambda-cyhalothrin and Chlorantraniliprole, the Ceballos population presented LC50 values of 234.18 and 165.31 ppm, respectively.
