El objetivo de la investigación fue la identificación de nematodos asociados al cultivo de la berenjena, el muestreo se realizó en el estado de Aguascalientes en la comunidad de Cañada Honda (latitud 22 002254, latitud norte 22° 08&#8217; 11584&#8217;&#8217;, longitud oeste -102 192580, 102° 11&#8217; 33 2862&#8217;&#8217;) en el año 2019, la técnica utilizada de extracción de nematodos filiformes fue la de tamizado y fluctuación por medio de centrífuga con solución de sacarosa. Las claves para la identificación de nematodos fueron las propuestas por Cid del Prado (2009), las claves de Esienbcach (1985); Nickle (1991); Hunt (2009), para las muestras de raíz se realizó la disección de las agallas para la obtención de los posibles nematodos existentes en la raíz, de igual manera se realizó un análisis visual de cada raíz y se clasificó el daño causado por agallas. El promedio de nematodos en cada muestra de suelo analizada fue de 85 nematodos en 100 g de suelo, el índice de daño a las raíces demostró un valor de 5 a 6 según la escala de Bridge y Page. Se identificaron cuatro géneros: Nacobbus spp., Rhabditis spp., Psilechus spp., y Dorylaimus spp.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Eggplant is a crop of great development and opportunity for economic growth worldwide, it can be compromised by pests and phytopathogenic diseases that affect the yield in the production of the crop. The objective of the research was the identification of nematodes associated with the eggplant crop, the sampling was carried out in the state of Aguascalientes in the community of Cañada Honda (latitude 22 002254, north latitude 22° 0&#8217;8 11584&#8221;, west longitude -102 192580, 102° 11&#8217; 33 2862&#8221;) in 2019, the technique used to extract filiform nematodes was that of sieving and centrifugal fluctuation with sucrose solution. The keys to the identification of nematodes were those proposed by Cid del Prado (2009), the keys of Esienbcach (1985); Nickle (1991); Hunt (2009), for the root samples, the dissection of the galls was performed to obtain the possible nematodes existing in the root, in the same way, a visual analysis of each root was carried out and the damage caused by galls was classified. The average of nematodes in each soil sample analyzed was 85 nematodes in 100 g of soil, the root damage index showed a value of 5 to 6 according to Bridge and Page&#8217;s scale.
