La procedencia es de la Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán (FESC-UNAM), el Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales, Agrícolas y Pecuarias (INIFAP) y la colaboración de ambas instituciones, en comparación con un testigo comercial. La investigación se realizó en el ciclo primavera-verano de 2013, se establecieron experimentos, en el Centro de Enseñanza Agropecuaria de la FESC-UNAM y otro en el Campo Experimental Valle de México (CEVAMEX-INIFAP) del INIFAP. Cada uno de los experimentos constó de 12 tratamientos (híbridos), cuatro de la FESC, UNAM, dos de INIFAP, cinco de INIFAP-FESC-UNAM y un testigo de ASGROW. Los híbridos PUMA 1163, Búho y H-48 presentaron los mayores rendimientos de materia verde (p&lt; 0.05). Búho, 501 x 497, 504 x 408 y PUMA 1163 los más altos en materia seca (p&lt; 0.05) y la mayor altura de planta correspondió a los híbridos PUMA 1167 y PUMA 1163 (p&lt; 0.05), por lo que se pueden considerar alternativas para los productores. PUMA 1163 y PUMA 1167 presentaron alta calidad forrajera, con valores aceptables de digestibilidad, proteína y bajos contenidos de fibras. En calidad forrajera destacaron los híbridos PUMA 1163, H-48 y PUMA 1167 con 63, 61 y 60% de digestibilidad, respectivamente. Los valores para proteína, fibra detergente neutro y fibra detergente ácido fueron 8.6 y 8.4%, 60 y 57% y 26 y 22.5% para PUMA 1167 y PUMA 1163, respectivamente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Twelve hybrids were evaluated to determine those that exhibit high yields and high forage quality to be used in livestock production. The origin is from the School of Higher Studies Cuautitlan (FESC-UNAM), the National Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock Research (INIFAP) and the collaboration of both institutions, compared to a commercial control. The research was conducted in the spring-summer cycle of 2013 experiments were established in the Agricultural Teaching Center of the FESC-UNAM and another in the Valley of Mexico Experimental Field (CEVAMEX-INIFAP) of the INIFAP. Each of the experiments consisted of 12 treatments (hybrids), four from the FESC, UNAM, two from INIFAP, five from INIFAP-FESC-UNAM and one control from ASGROW. The PUMA 1163, Buho and H-48 hybrids showed the highest green matter yields (p&lt; 0.05). Buho, 501 x 497, 504 x 408 and PUMA 1163 the highest in dry matter (p&lt; 0.05) and the highest plant height corresponded to the hybrids PUMA 1167 and PUMA 1163 (p&lt; 0.05), so they can be considered alternatives for producers.
