Mediante las mediciones de las variables climáticas de radiación solar global, temperatura y humedad del aire, se determinó la transmitancia de los invernaderos, las cuales fueron de &#964;= 0.56 para el invernadero sin encalar y &#964;= 0.26 y &#964;= 0.14 para el invernadero sombreado mediante encalado y mallas térmicas. Se determinó la tasa de renovación de aire y resultó que un intercambio de N= 59.4 h-1 es adecuado para la regulación de la temperatura. Se concluyó que el sombreo tiene poca influencia en cuanto al comportamiento de la temperatura y la humedad del aire en el interior, mientras que la ventilación cenital y lateral, es determinante para la regulación del microclima.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In the present work, the study of the effect of shading and ventilation as strategies for microclimate management in low technology greenhouses in the Irapuato region of Guanajuato is exposed. By means of the measurements of the climatic variables of global solar radiation, temperature and humidity of the air, the transmittance of the greenhouses was determined, which were of &#964;= 0.56 for the greenhouse without liming and &#964;= 0.26 and &#964;= 0.14 for the shaded greenhouse by liming and thermal meshes. The rate of air renewal was determined and it turned out that an exchange of N= 59.4 h-1 is adequate for the regulation of temperature. It was concluded that shading has little influence on the behavior of the temperature and humidity of the air inside, while the overhead and lateral ventilation is decisive for the regulation of the microclimate.]]></p></abstract>
